It started with a simple belief: Fresh seafood belongs over an open fire.


For our family, the kitchen has always been the heart of the home. Growing up along the Mexican coast, we learned early on that the best flavors don't come from a freezer—they come from the ocean and the earth. We spent our childhoods watching the day's catch be seasoned with nothing but sea salt, lime, and chili, then grilled over smoky wood coals until perfection.


When we opened Arcola Mar & Grill, we wanted to bring that same rustic, smoky magic to Texas. We don't take shortcuts. Our Red Snapper is grilled whole, our salsas are crushed fresh daily, and our marinades are family secrets passed down for generations.
